Going fast from zero to a working product that is well architected

I started to work with Ruby on Rails in 2009 because a friend of mine was a big fan of it and was sure it was going to have a great future. Since then, I have used it to implement several side projects, some of which with public access.

The biggest and most successful project is apilio.com, a smart home automation platform that I started as a side project and grew into a start-up. It integrates with three product brands and offers several APIs. It can scale horizontally and runs very smoothly, requiring minimal maintenance.

I have a very broad technical knowledge and can help with many topics. My special skill is to get from an idea to a running project in very little time by leveraging existing services and a small codebase.
