Hey, I'm Torsten Bühl!

I have 20 years of experience as a full-stack engineer (13 years with Ruby/Rails). I love to build products while writing clean and maintainable code.

I am the founder of Exceptiontrap, which got acquired by Scout APM in 2020. Since then, I have built Foodlane, an online ordering platform for restaurants. Before that, I worked for a company in the Bay Area (backed by Y Combinator).

I have been working remotely for my whole career – with multiple years for US-based companies – and time zone differences have never been an issue.
