I love Rails for making developers so productive, and for the “less is more” philosophy it often embodies. My focus lately has been pairing Rails’ historically great backend tools with more recent advances such as StimulusJS and Turbo, along with ViewComponents and Tailwind, to make a pretty compelling frontend stack (I do have some React experience, too).

Finally, I get excited when building products that make life easier for the end-user. I enjoy implementing thoughtful features in clear, concise code….as a freelancer or member of a team.
