As an ex-chef and graduate from Le Wagon web development boot camp I'm excited about transitioning to a new industry and putting my unique skill set and creative talents to work.
I'm an experienced Ruby developer, working primarily with Ruby on Rails, but I have experience deploying apps with React.js, Node.js, and Next.js as well. I pride myself on writing clear, maintainable code with modular components to improve usability and readability, as well as writing comprehensive tests that ensure a smooth running application.
My history as a chef has allowed me to develop a diverse set of skills for my new career. In particular I am experienced working with and managing staff, clients, producers etc. I have learned how to accept and productively deliver criticism and to learn quickly and adapt from mistakes.
I am hard-working, adaptable, passionate, and eager to learn and improve in a fast paced and ever changing industry. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about your project and join your team.
