I am an accomplished Head of Engineering with over 9 years of experience driving innovation and leading high-performing engineering teams. Throughout my career, I have consistently built and scaled engineering organizations, delivered complex software solutions, and driven significant business impact.  

My "developer origin story" is grounded in hands-on software development. I honed my skills in Ruby on Rails early on, and I'm particularly proud of my commitment to quality, like when I took untested production apps to 95% code coverage. This foundation as a developer deeply informs my leadership approach, giving me a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities my teams face. A recent highlight includes my time as CTO at Sonatafy, where I developed AI screening to improve hiring and recruiting efficiency.  

Building and scaling teams is a passion of mine, demonstrated by my experiences at Spring Health and Freshly, where I rapidly expanded engineering teams while maintaining a focus on delivery and quality. I excel at connecting technology with business strategy, and I have a proven track record of driving key business metrics and reducing costs through innovative solutions. For example, I owned the engineering of an internal EHR at Spring Health, which decreased expenditures in the tens of millions annually.
