I've been working with Ruby on Rails since 2005, when I used it as a key component in scaling a journalism company from 30 to over 100 employees, securing tens of thousands of global subscribers, and surpassing $15M in annual revenue.

My specialization includes developing bespoke SaaS products and integrating CMS and CRM systems with visual user analytics and subscription entitlements.

I've been an engineering manager and director and have mentored junior developers to help them become accomplished full-stack engineers.

My skills span across the software stack, from server infrastructure to UX/UI design. I'm proficient in CI/CD tools and processes and place high value on unit and integration testing. When confronted with unfamiliar technology, I challenge myself to learn it.
