Exited founder, engineering leader, and full-stack dev that can handle a bit of everything

I've been writing Rails apps since about 2014 and have been a developer in various capacities for over 15 years. I love working in Rails and also have experience building mobile apps with React Native. I've built eCommerce sites (Spree/Solidus), SaaS apps, and internal apps. I am comfortable working with all the latest innovations in Rails, including Hotwire/Turbo and StimulusReflex.

I sold the company I founded 10+ years ago and since then have been leading the application development team at a healthcare startup, where we build primarily with Rails and React/React Native. As an exited founder and startup leader, I'm comfortable doing a little bit of everything--UX/UI design, product management, marketing optimization, you name it... I love a greenfield project, but also happy to dive into an existing project.
