I am a software engineer, who loves working on impactful software products, and being part of a healthy, engaged team.
I believe at the heart of any great piece of software made, lies a need met and a positive, scalable impact made.

On a personal level, I enjoy working in an environment where I have access to direct feedback on ways I can improve what I deliver as well as how I deliver value, whether that is from my teammates or customers.

My experience includes significant contributions to a Rails upgrade from 5.1.7 to 5.2.6, migrating error logging from Errbit to Sentry, initiatives to add and utilize code quality tooling (RuboCop, SimpleCov) as well as working on various integrations (APIs) that allow customers to make payments and utilize devices across sub-saharan Africa. I've also done some performance testing work using tools like Locust https://github.com/locustio/locust/
