I'm currently looking to get into a Ruby on Rails position. Remote or hybrid, if within a 30-45min commute. I'm wanting to transition back to an individual contributor and I believe Ruby on Rails is my path back to it.
An overview of myself:
Of particular interest to me is Ruby and Ruby on Rails, reflecting a passion for exploring and mastering diverse programming languages and frameworks. This enthusiasm for continuous learning and technical growth is evident throughout my career, with highlights including contributions to projects at Tiicker and Willis Towers Watson, where React, Node, NextJS, and C# were leveraged to build and maintain robust applications.
I plan on further expanding their skill set by studying for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CCP) certification, showcasing a commitment to staying at the forefront of cloud computing technologies. Some noteworthy professional experience includes serving as a Lead Full Stack Developer for Business Information Systems, where I played a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing a complex tax software suite. Additionally, I have led development teams, mentored new hires, and collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for bugs and feature requests.
I know this is long, just reach out and we can have a chat.
