I'm a web developer and open source contributor with a focus on modern Ruby on Rails including Hotwire. In addition to Rails and Ruby, I am proficient in JavaScript, React, TailwindCSS, PostgreSQL, HTML, and CSS. I have experience testing with RSpec, Minitest, Capybara, and Jest. I also know Python.

My formal educational background is in analytic philosophy, which means I have research skills and a deep background in formal logic and abstract reasoning. I love to solve problems, whether it’s hunting down a bug, figuring out how to implement a feature, fixing the flaws in a line of argument, or MacGyver-ing together protective paw covers for my dog that actually stay on in the snow.
