FullStack Developer

Hi, my name is Alphonce,

I am currently a student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics. I fell in love with web development through my friends who are taking computer science. This led to joining Microverse to learn full-stack web development where we use Ruby and Ruby on Rails for the backend.

The journey at Microverse was a pretty challenging one with immense pressure but I have been able to learn a lot. Apart from learning programming languages and other technical stuff, I have learned to work in groups, deliver projects within a given timeline, and also to communicate effectively.

I am very passionate about mentorship. When I joined Microverse, I was paired with a mentor who really helped so much in my development journey. Right now I volunteer as a mentor to the people who are joining the program.

Apart from programming, I love music and I play instruments such as piano and guitar. I also love inline skating.
