Seasoned developer with wide ranging experience

I have been developing for the web since 2007 and with Ruby on Rails since 2012. I am skilled in backend development as well as server-side rendered HTML. I have worked on a variety of projects from small scale to large legacy for a variety of different clients and employers. I have worked for startups, corporations and non-profits. I have experience working as part of team using agile methodologies, as well as working as a solo developer directly with clients.

I am passionate about continuing my own education as a developer as well as helping others learn. I was the organizer of the Ruby meetup in Ann Arbor for over five years. I have also spoken at numerous conferences and user groups.
