I've been making software since I was a kid. I enjoy designing solutions to complex problems and building abstraction layers that make difficult problems more comprehensible.

I've led teams of developers, and I've been a Director of Engineering responsible for a team building a hardware and software product. I've been a Technical Cofounder of a startup building a mobile app.

I excel at communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In the Ruby ecosystem, I've done a lot to build developer happiness for my teams. I've upgraded Rails and Ruby in many legacy projects.

On the frontend I've build iOS apps in Swift and React apps in Typescript. On the API layer I've worked a lot with GraphQL in addition to classic REST where I cut my teeth.
