Experienced CTO on Rails

I'm a seasoned early stage startup developer who loves moving fast with a lean team on rails apps that accomplish big things. Passionate about Ruby on Rails for it's focus on velocity and the vibrant, positive community surrounding the framework.

I've been the CTO of 100-person SV-backed startup and also the solo developer of small organizations (and everything in between). I believe the best outcomes occur when the technology works in partnership with the larger business. I work to cultivate a collaborative relationship across the company rather than an adversarial one.

I've worked on a wide range of products including: online education, professional dog training, remote collaboration, developer tools, coworking space management, and much more.

I most enjoy working solo or with a small number of other developers but am comfortable with larger teams.
