Accountant and Developer

I am an accountant by trade and developer by necessity. I have years of experience making software handle the boring work so that teams can focus on the interesting knowledge work.

I have worked several years as both an external auditor and as an accountant in a public company. In auditing, we used ProSystem fx and I always wanted to improve upon it. With industry, I had a huge role implementing SAP and connecting our finance teams’ Oracle system with accounting’s SAP into an excel add-on.

Over the past year I developed a Ruby on Rails web application for personal finance and budgeting, MoneyApp (https://moneyapp2.fly.dev/).
