13 year Expert Rails and Fullstack Dev and Team Lead

I've been a software engineer and leader for 18 years, with a focus on Ruby on Rails and full-stack development for the last 13.

I’ve lead teams of 30+ as a staff and Principal engineer, and as a people manager.

I’m an expert in web, mobile, api, service-oriented and micro-services architectures, data pipelines, AI and voice-enabled applications.

In addition to Rails, I’m also an expert in React, React Native and JavaScript. I’ve recently owned projects in Python, Django, Typescript, Swift for IOS, Kotlin for Android, and can pick up any language/ framework with a few weeks practice.

I offer hands-on development, team leadership, code reviews, team training and up-leveling, as well as UI/UX design and research, project and product management, strategic planning and roadmapping, and compliance for HIPPA and SOC.
