PillPack by Amazon Pharmacy
● Led multiple projects for a team of 7-8 engineers working on microservices, written in Ruby on Rails to a workflow engine written using Camunda, all built on AWS cloud infrastructure.
● Initiated and managed a project to unify several platforms that pharmacy agents use into one core service, simplifying the number of tools from nine to five.
● Oversaw a project to implement a specialized process for Amazon Pharmacy after Amazon's acquisition of PillPack, including building a Camunda workflow engine.
● Built a new distributed and scalable service that manages the process of acquiring prescriptions from healthcare providers and other pharmacies, including a CI/CD pipeline in AWS.
● Created an integration test suite of own initiative for the system, which is being used extensively during beta testing as evidence for production.
