Hey, I’m Ale 👋

I’m a software engineer with over 15 years of commercial experience helping companies bring ambitious products to life.

I’ve been a first hire, a tech lead, and everything in between. I’ve worked with founders and CTOs, helping them go from zero to one, scaling platforms, and running high-stakes systems.

I’ve shipped code across finance, logistics, e-commerce, healthcare, esports, automotive, edtech, and even fashion industries.

Recently, I’ve focused on helping companies like Blitz, Canary, and Superkind to integrate AI into real-world products.

My core stack is Ruby on Rails and Elixir/Phoenix, but I have also shipped great-quality code in Node, React, and Python apps.

I care about clean code, quick feedback loops, and solving the correct problems to maintain a sustainable release cycle. Great code shipped today, beats beautiful code shipped two weeks later.

For the past 8 years, I’ve worked remotely with US-based teams, writing code, leading teams, reviewing PRs, and pairing up to solve tricky bugs.
