I am a self-taught developer with 20 years of experience putting together websites in PHP, Ruby on Rails and Python (Django). My time spent doing development professionally, as opposed to on a "hobby" level, is shorter (only about 5 years). But I keep up with latest technologies and tools, and am a fast learner.

I feel my real strength lies in my ability to communicate.

I am also a journalist by trade. This has trained me to communicate problems and solutions in a more clear and understandable way.
