Full Stack Engineer | former Urban Planner

How can we leverage technology, data, and automation to bring people together, improve efficiency, and solve difficult problems?

As an urban planner, I faced this question frequently - and as a software developer, I am now empowered to answer it.

I currently work as a Full Stack Engineer at a B2B SaaS proptech startup, where I build and maintain features with Ruby on Rails and Javascript / React. I have a strong focus on writing clear, maintainable code, understanding the "whys" of tech and business decisions, and collaborating with colleagues - in and outside of the engineering team - to develop, refine, and implement product improvements.

Outside of work, I organize the bi-monthly Interview Prep sessions for WNB.rb (online community for women and non-binary Rubyists), volunteer with my neighborhood civic organization, and conduct rigorous research on the best bagels available in Philly.
