Ruby on Rails Developer with a soft spot for the low level languages

Production Engineer by degree, developer by heart. My passion for programming started when I was still in university, where I became a C-language tutor. In 2022 I decided to officially start my career as a developer, attending a Full-stack Web Dev bootcamp.

One of the accomplishments I take pride in is building a compiler in Assembly for a simplified C-like language. The project got praised for its effectiveness, and learning such low level languages has deepened my focus on efficiency when I code.

For the past 1.5 years I have been working on a robust RoR application as a back-end engineer, gaining experience in some key areas like:

- API integration
- Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Debugging
- Database manipulation and query efficiency
- Building and maintaining background jobs

I pride myself on having meticulous and analytical thinking. I don't just enjoy solving problems; I strive to analyze all the potential consequences for application functionality and the end user experience, ensuring I come up with the best possible solutions.
